He has been a Professor of Management at Punjabi University, Patiala. He has been guiding doctoral research, has worked in the industry and has also been conducting Management Development Programmes for the industry. He has numerous research publications to his credit, in publications of national repute. He made his presence felt as a strong administrator as Director, Lovely Institute of Management during 2001-2005.
